Stop Stealing Sheep
"Stop Stealing Sheep" is a Typographic guide. I was tasked with redesigning the cover and creating a successful layout of an excerpt from the original text.
Although "Stop Stealing Sheep" is an educational piece, a legible sans serif is used to bring a modern feel to the text. The composition is kept simple for easy readability, and a grid is used so that the composition remains balanced.
Two different iterations of the cover were created. Careful consideration of negative space was taken when choosing the photographs for the cover page. Each photo's composition is minimal with the horizon line in the lower third of the image so that text elements can occupy the negative space. Ultimately, the cover on the left was chosen.
